Wait a minute... I guess this is the first time I have seen that pocket in the center console open. I always assumed that it was a cup holder of some kind.
Where is the center cup holder?

That is where the cup holders are located. They are just a bit further down, just out of view of that shot.

does the passenger seat have the "thigh extension" on the seat? i see the seam for it in the drivers seat, but the passenger's side looks like the seat bottom is one piece. also, i'm assuming that's leather? the open pore wood trim and the color of the seats make me guess that!

It most likely is polar white. The designo diamond white is more yellowish i believe.
