I will get the 2015 C200 AMG Line and would like to know whether I should put the AMG sticker (original - from MB themselves) at the back or not. I'm not sure if it will look good. Please share your opinions!

most people are going to tell you that AMG appearance packages are not truly AMG, so skip the badging in the rear.

People who know what AMG is, will know it's not a AMG, since a true AMG will have 4 exhausts and different front, and most obviously different sound from the engine. They will nonetheless know that you have invested in AMG styling, and that should be enough.

People who doesn't know what AMG is, will not know what it means.

Thanks a lot for sharing your opinion. I agree with you entirely. So do you think I should put the AMG sticker or not?

Exactly what's in my mind. My brother's telling me to get the badge but I think it's pointless because it's just a C200 and the AMG essence is in the C63.

a Benz should have no badge and no model name, just the star in front.

Totally agree. I prefer a clean car. Only the star.
In didn't even order the outside AMG line, because I think only an AMG could look like an AMG.

The re AMG has its own styling. Different front and back.
The normal AMG is more like a sports/styling package.

Thanks all for your opinions. Much appreciated. I decided I won't put the AMG badge at the back. Looking forward to getting my car!

I wouldn't do it. I have a c350 with Amg package which has the special seats, trim, wheels and "AMG" on the floor mats. I should be able to put the amg sign on my car but I won't. To me, "amg" should be on a real amg car.

I can see debadging the car. When I had a c250 coupe I debadged my car after I bought the dual exhaust. Now that I own a c350, I did not debadged my car because all you see now is c300s and c250s. I maybe see a c350 once a month. When I get either the c400 or c450 I am not debadging the car.

I optioned it from purchase but as far as I know they paint then stick the badges on the back on with a glue. So technically it shouldn't be hard to remove if done carefully. Just do it soon after you get the car tho or there might be some fading around the numbers.

Do what you will... Just ask yourself this. How will you feel when you come up next to a M3 or M4 (or C63)? What do you think their reaction will be? Will their reaction affect you, and how? An AMG is more than just a badge...

There are modifications you can do that will bring folks to appreciate it more... An AMG badge isn't one of them.

It depends, one AMG sticker isn't enough, you need at least 50 AMG stickers.
