Canadian W205 C class builder is now online
I just noticed that the build your 2015 c class button is now present and active on Canadian website www.mercedes-benz.ca

C300/C400 4M Lease Rates:
24 months, 4.9%, 75% residual
36 months, 4.9%, 67% residual
45 months, 6.4%, 61% residual
60 months, 6.6%, 51% residual
MB Canada either made a mistake on the residuals, or the new C is ridiculously cheap to lease. At these rates, you would be stupid to buy or finance this car.

I plan to purchase and and sell after a few years. I think it will still work out to be better than a lease in terms of total expenditure especially if the lease rate is 4.9% and banks are giving out 3.5% home equity lines of credit. Also after a lease is over, and the vehicle is returned, MB will probably sell the car for 3 or 4 k more than residual on the open market. And that is after they have charged you for overages....

Error in Canadian Configurator?
When configuring the C400, Partial LED lights are included (normally a $900 option in the C300). However to upgrade to the full LED lights, the cost is $1200, the same cost as the full LED light cost for the C300. What about the $900 for the partial LED lights that were part of the package C400? Should the full LED not be just $300 more?

Makes sense but they gave me no credit for the partial led included on the stock c400. I was charged 1200 for the active LED on my bill and that doesn't include the high beam assist that was left off my order for another 250. The combination goes on the US model for 800 total!

Its my experience that MB always gives very high residual value on new or updated launch models. The Audi BMW folks are always surprised by the high 60's rate for 36 month leases.
The weird build for us Canadians is the odd bundling of the Premium plus between the 300 and 400; also Luxury not available on the 400 Intelligent Drive not available on the 300.
For what would be my third MB the dealer can get me into one now.
Interesting part is my lease end is Jan 2015��
I did two builds on the website so I sent him the build codes he is looking through the current inventory.
They never have what I want �� I tend to load them up with options and packages.

on c300, it is amg interior package 850 option (in conj. with sport)
also with regard to the LED being 1200. I noticed that too and my sales friend said it is how it is, you pay the full price for the upgrade. despite C400 includes that partial LED option which normally costs 900.

Also not on the website but information I got at the dealership was that the 360 degree camera is part of the premium plus package on the c300.

This is true, I also had my order with the open pore but it is mated to the AMG Package which is not listed on the Online build app.
If you are going to get one, it will not cost you anything to go down, test drive and put in an order exactly the way you want.
The list of "unpublished" option packages seems to change weekly
I found out that the official Canadian Launch date is not until late September so they are not supposed to deliver just let you test drive and put in an order. Its funny since the dealership I was at had a White C300 in the pick up bay
