since you in southern ca. This saleman offered me 8830$ off on a 2016 C450 on the lot with MSRP 68230$. The only reason i didnt take his offer is the car has no surround view camera, only rear view camera. Plus linden wood which i dont like that much, i prefer black ash wood.
maybe he can give you a better discount. msg me if you interested.

It's an issue of the car being an AMG in the first place - although I wouldn't mind chatting up your rep regardless.
Cheers on good taste btw!

I love the car, but would recommend the sport model if it does in fact come w/ drilled rotors(improved brakes?). The brakes seem weak compared to the previous generation. It could just be a change to the brake feel/pedal. Also, what's the deal with wiper blades, 3 days in and the wipers are shot. The rear suspension still acts funny when accelerating over uneven manhole covers, but the car is higher off the ground and far more comfortable. I really recommend everyone use edmunds or online pricing, as the salesperson's in NY are very good at what they do. Maximize sale price while ensuring the deal, and going to any extreme to keep business out of other dealerships. For that last part, you should take advantage of that and say you will go elsewhere if they can't give you 11-12% off msrp. If you don't know pricing difference like me for a different model, I think your suppose to ask for the invoice and negotiate from there. The paddle shifters make the driving experience so much better despite the smaller engine.

That's a great price I hope your enjoying it. I live in the same area, I picked up a basic c300 sedan w/ sunroof, p1, blind spot, and rear view camera, metallic paint, black ash trim, totaling a sticker of 47,420. Lease invoice shows $44195 as Cap Cost. I ended up paying 17,500 including servicing, all plate and DMV fees for the next 3 years. So it seems I got 7% off instead of the 12% off I thought I was getting because it's not a sports model.

Definitely more comfortable in every way just kind of unnerving when you break the rear a little loose on an AWD car by just speeding onto the highway from an on ramp. Hopefully I can swing a sport model and maybe the suspension will be a bit tighter.

Jokaankit, I am near exit 62 off the LIE. I also own two Porsches, one slightly modified and the other a total track car. We rally on Sundays out East. Drop me a line if you would like to join us.

Dapper, the longer wheelbase and springy suspension make the the car drive strangely on small hilly roads and steep driveways. However, it rides so much better over the small bumps on the roads. On the sunken potholes it bottoms the suspension and springs a bit, but passengers don't feel the jolt after compressing. It is a much better suspension for daily driving. Handling is a compromise, better at slower speeds, worse at higher speeds.
I'll say this the c300 traction control has never failed me while it has resulted in spinouts on BMW.
Thanks Stephen, I'll PM you soon I hope.

Please specify lease vs. purchase discount off of MSRP. There is a substantial difference, they are not apples to apples comparisons. Lease deals tend to offer much larger discounts off of MSRP compared to financing a purchase.

Going to be going in to negotiate a lease on a C450 in the next few days. Will be a custom order. Am I going into this with the right thoughts?
MSRP $64k
36 months, 12k miles
Targeting 10% off, 7% is my minimum acceptable
MF should be .00129
Anything look off or unrealistic? Thanks in advance for any replies.

That's a great selling price. 12.5% off is sweet. I wish I could get a fleet rate.

I can't really comment on the lease rates conversion, but the price is about what I got - little less actually. and that was the lowest in the west coast at the time. 61500$ retail 53.200 negotiated price (with Fleet added) so you're right up there at great!
