Strange, our cars doesnt have that "cap" where the sharkfin used to sit.

You are correct, I checked EPC and the cap is a satellite radio antenna, SA code 536

I wonder why they decided against the shark fin when the current S class has one. Clearly then its more about design/cost versus functionality.

Also nice to see the GLAs starting to roll in, I have yet to see one

I will buy one like that, but I'm gonna get the interior in red with piano black in the dashboard. What you think of the fuel economy? i know it's a new car so the avg is higher than one with 2000kms on the clock.

from the picture above, it seems like the gla has a total height almost identical to the C class. wouldnt it mean less room inside?

Well, the GLA is no large car, it is pretty much an A-class, it is based on the same platform just as the CLA

damn, the W205 is so beautiful. If i didnt have so many problems with my W204, i'd probably have replaced it with the W205. Went with the Lexus IS instead. Miss driving a German car sometimes.

I believe these are the hi-vis safety jackets. In the event of a breakdown and you are standing away from the car, easier for rescue services to see you. It's a legal requirement in some European countries like France.
