The case for Air Suspension Option
This sports car reviewer gives high praises for his C250 with Air Suspension and how it makes the Agility selector a true unique experience on each setting.

You always have the same 5 settings, but of course they will be a lot more noticeable with airmatic.

Tap the Agility Select switch and you can tailor the drive of your C-Class to suit your mood. There are five driving modes to choose from: Comfort, Eco, Sport, Sport+ and Individual. The engine and transmission responsiveness will be adjusted to suit the chosen driving mode, and in conjunction with the AirMATIC Agility Package, the suspension is also adjusted to ensure the entire car is in tune with your desired driving style. You can also choose your individual programme in Individual mode

Question: is the steel suspension adjustable? In the US, when I read about Agility Select WITHOUT Airmatic, the MB website only mentions steering and steering calibrations....
BTW, why are some people saying they're glad they didn't get Diamond Silver? I've seen it in person many times, and I think it's beautiful.

Steel suspension is not adjustable in any way through Agility Select, you can only affect throttle, steering and transmission response.
I really enjoyed my (now sold) Diamond Silver wagon, got a lot of compliments on the color, but on the other hand I also got some negative response.

I test drove a C300 with the standard suspension and the optional 18" wheels as well as a C300 with the sport package and the standard 18" wheels. The sport suspension was noticeably stiffer and in my opinion it was too harsh for the roads in the area that I live in. The standard suspension with the 18" wheels was nice and I would have no problem with it long-term. If I went with the sport package, I think that I would need to have the air suspension. However, the cost of the two together is probably too much to justify for a car that will be used mostly in a dense urban environment. However, I want the top-stitch MB-Tex dash trim, so I want to test drive a luxury package C300 (comfort suspension) with either the 18" or 19" wheels listed as accessories. That might be the perfect combination for me at a price that is similar or slightly less than the sport package alone.

Update the C300 now has the Airmatic Agility System as an $1800 option.
I have an order that I am probably going to go with and it will be a C300 with Airmatic and most importantly Diamond Grey with Lux package.
My current C is such an unusual colour that people always think its grey or green or think I changed my car. Colours that seem to change depending on the lighting or what you are parked next is a plus for me.
But to each his/her own

Do you have a pic of your car? I wonder if they renamed Sapphire Grey (what I have) outside of the US and we have the same color? It was 2012 only in the US. It is grey, blue or green depending on the light.

Diamond Silver is completely different.

About the diamond silver.....Your wagon looks nice in that pic. I came very close to ordering Diamond silver because it is different from the more common colours. But I found that there is too much colour variation depending on the lighting conditions. I'm seeing that your posted pic is probably the same car as the one in your signature, but they look VERY different. In that video, under overcast conditions it looks too blue for my liking. I was on the fence and then one day my wife said it reminded her of her high school mood ring because it changes colour....then I changed to iridium silver with red leather interior, a colour combination I like in all lighting conditions. But to each their own.

I was set on Diamond Silver for the 2015 C. Looked fabulous at dusk first time I saw it. Not too baby blue. Then returned to the dealer and saw it in overcast. Wow baby blue. After months of trying to find pics and liking the color (gtspirit review) it was out in a hurry. Now....Iridium or Polar White or Palladium or Black. I think the soft rear end / tail lights make the polar white too feminine.

I ordered Iridium silver metallic with the cranberry red AMG leather interior. C400 (AMG exterior styling)
I came across this pic on instagram of what I assume is Diamond silver because of the colour variation with lighting conditions
Is this diamond silver???!?

Looks like tennorite grey to me. Love it on the E coupe. Kinda like agate gray from porsche and Daytona gray from audi. Iridium silver is much lighter....i think I'm going with iridium for the roof contrast and shows the side body lines...but it is a little lighter than I'd want but palladium is too gray/dull when dirty

IMO paint colors, specifically metallic car paints, have about as much to do with camera and gear you're looking at to view pic than the actual color in different shades of light/shade/sun.

Having said that, the color looks more like Palladium Silver to me (although the reflections -- not necessarily the lighting itself -- makes it VERY difficult to tell). I think Steel Grey would be much darker overall since it's notable dark even in very bright conditions.
