You purchased it like that, with the AMG badging and the C63 components? From a dealer?
Guys you do not need to buy the Adams (they don't actually make their gun) foam gun. There are foam guns (probably made by the same company) on the market for 1/2 that price. I got mine a few years ago and cannot remember the name, but it was around $60.
One thing you will start to see as you get more into detailing, is that one manufacturer will develop a product and then brand label it for other companies. For example, and I COULD be wrong, but I am willing to bet that Rupes makes the Boss G21 for Griots Garage.
Point is, shop around and don't just assume the first price you see is the end all, be all.

I use a manual foamer that costs ca. $30 - 1,5 liter of water with few drops of Magifoam is sufficient to cover the whole car for pre-wash (my car has the Gyeon ceramic coat though).
