My new car just arrived to the dealership. Boring rims but I could not fit everything I wanted as the the budget had an absolute limit (company car). It is the base model 220 Bluetec with comfort suspension, artico, Airbalance, Distronic, ILS, Parktronic, tinted rear windows and Garmin.
Cool.. nice looking car. What's the clear bra .. the only kind I knew of was the ones that go transparent when cold beer is poured over them .
Is it like transparent vehicle/vinyl wrap to guard against stone chips? Wouldn't mind getting some details on that (e.g. cost, where to buy etc).
That's exactly what it is...it covers the front including the headlamps...it goes about 1/3 of the way up the hood. Side view mirrors are protected...right behind the front and rear wheels...typically where mud/gravel may fly up. Unless you've done this before it would probably be best to have a professional install it...I used a local company here Pro-tect Film...you can checkout youtube to see an install. The price will vary based on coverage... I'm actually looking to do some of the console...that thing scratches if you look at it hard
I wont lower it by much, will most likely make the "Comfort" mode ride height to match my current "Sport plus" , this way I can lower it an additional 15mm.s by selecting sport plus or individual in Agility Select.
I have bought a stiched leather airbag unit and button modules from the S-Class Coupe, will fit them shortly.
Picked up my First MB today. Diamond White C250 with AMG Command, Vision, Seat package and cranberry red leather.
First impression and drive was so so good.

Car looks beautiful.... i have same specs as yours, but Black..... after looking at yours I'm almost sorry I didn't get the white. I usually find find a boring colour, but I think with the dark wheels, black bumper inserts and the panoramic sunroof it really compliments the white...... Four to Six weeks before mine arrives and I'm counting every minute..... lol
