Picked up my First MB today. Diamond White C250 with AMG Command, Vision, Seat package and cranberry red leather.
First impression and drive was so so good.

Looks great. Didn't even pick up on the fact that the sign said Brisvegas . Did you pick it up in the valley? I've got mine on order through the McGreggor dealer and was thinking of them last night when that big hail storm came through. I bet they got slammed down there.
Nice to see a local delivery though. Spotted a silver W205 on the road for the first time last week.

Yeah DBOC from MBB in the valley. I arrived home in sunshine at 4pm and 40mins later it was a category 2 cyclonic storm (as you know)!
Yesterday many people ended up with hail damage and damaged houses and trees have been uprooted. It could've been a disastrous 1st day with a new car but luckily all good.
I'm constantly driving with a grin. The wait will be worth it. 3mths and I too was counting minutes and tracking the ship from Sth Africa
JB...that looks freakin' nice...ok...did you go thru the dealership? Did they paint it for you? Did you install or did they install? Was it put on using double sided tape or did they actually "bolt" it on. I likes it a lot!! Dang just when I thought I was done with the mods!!

I did go through the dealership. I ordered it through my local dealer parts department and they sent it out to a local body shop to be painted. Then the dealer installed it with what I assume to be the double sided adhesive tape I heard about but I'm not completely sure. Seems pretty solid whatever it is....
Thanks! I don't know how accurate this is but I was told Mercedes did like 6 of the C400's like this, called a blackout option. Adds 6k to the car but I loved it. I'll take some better pics, the inside is nice too.

Although I can see the beauty of the paint up-close, I think that the creases on the side and other nice details, like the ones on the hood of the W205 are lost with this paint.
Hey guys, new to Mercedes Benz... Just got myself a new C300 the other day... I have to say hats off to Mercedes Benz for doing an incredible job on the C class this time around. The interior and the chassis dynamics really sold me.
Well, It's birthday time today for my new baby Merc..... Almost identical to yours Atomic except i got the Cranberry Red Seats......
Anyone know how long delivery from South Africa to Australia (Melbourne) is ???? Dealer is saying by the end of January, but I'm hoping you will tell me that you all received yours in around 3 weeks (Nice Christmas Present ;-)
Starting to see a few more appearing around Melbourne now.... I sigh everytime one passes me
Hi Seanix Dealer in Brisbane told me my build date was December 15 and I would receive second week in Feb He call me again this Morning and confirmed we are still on track. So my guess is bout 6 weeks on the boat then docks then dealer about 8 weeks in total . cheers

Sounds like yours could be on the same boat as mine - I was told Jan-30 for when the ship arrives and another week or so following that to take delivery at the dealer. My guess is that the ship docks in Melbourne or Sydney and the car is then freighted to Brisbane. So you'll probably get your W205 before I do.

Question - with the new 2.0T engine, how easy is it to increase power? Are there reputable tuners that does ECU upgrade that will bring the power level to around 280-300hp? I think that would be an ideal power level for this car.
