Active Blind Spot Assist and Parktronics
I am curious about Active Blind Spot Assist and Parktronics packages.
I have seen video on youtube where the car would apply the opposite brakes to pull the car back into your own lane if you try to enter the next lane with a vehical already there.
1) Does that work if you don't activate the turn signal ?
2) Does it work on both sides (left lane and right lane) ?
3) What happen if you are in someone else's blind spot and that car come into your lane?
As for the Parktronic, does the parallel parking feature work on bothsides of the street ?

1) I don't have this feature, only blind spot assist, and it works for both sides.
2) yes, it works for both sides, but you have to use turn signals to let the car know to search for a spot on the opposite side.

I have the coupe with these features. The blind spot assist and lane assist brake the wheels to guide you back however, you need to hold in to the wheel for this to work.
If you don't, it seems to torque steer the wheel the opposite way.
The lane assist will give you a haptic warning (vibrate the steering wheel) if you cross broken lines and will be "active" on solid lines.
The BA has only gone off once for me when another car approached too close so yes it will go off and try to steer you the other way however the tolerance is tight.

Parktronic parallel parking works on both sides, if you want to park on the left side just flip the indicator to the left and look for the "P" symbol after passing a suitable pocket.
