This can now be ordered as an option from the factory? AFAIK it is a dealer accessory along with the roof spoiler. They're $300 each and comes primed for paint. It's confusing because they show them as options on mbusa's online configurator.

Meh..... not for me. Falls under the same category is the lighted star and lighted door sills. Im just not into bling thing. Not ugly though.The trunk has a nice spoilerly look to it as it is. The Carlson one looks rice to me, as an S2000 owner I'm well versed on "riceciness" I do like the smoked out front diffuser lip though.

Yes, available as factory option.
My order went through yesterday with rear spoiler on the build spec sheet.

you can order it aftermarket thru the dealer, which is what I did since it wasn't an option when I got mine. it came primed, just had to paint it.

Nice! I have mine ordered and out for painting (body colored - Iridium silver). I should get it installed next week....

Ha, I couldn't contain myself after picking it up from the shop that did the powercoating. I'm in seattle, so obvi sunny days are hard to come by.

You're right. The amg spoiler that I am seeing in pics now looks thinner and sits more on top of the trunk than on the edge like mine.

This is what I got on mine.


If you're interested in getting one, head over to www.burtmanindustries.com and call the number on the site if you want to order. Got the car in October and installed the spoiler at the end of November. Very happy with it so far.
