Spoiler anyone?
I'm sure most of you by now have seen pictures of the C63 AMG. I'm curious what your thoughts are on the rear lip spoiler. I have seen pics with both a body coloured, and a black spoiler. What do you think about this as an add on to an AMG line c300/c400?

Oh yeah? I might have to add a body coloured version of it. One of the distinctive visual cues on the W204 c350 was the rear lip....I'm surprised they didn't put it on the c400 as standard

It will be interesting to see what spoilers people put on once more people get their cars!

Rear deck spoilers
Hey Guys, I am trying to confirm if the spoilers are available in Germany to ship right away, if so I will try to get a couple air shipped in ahead of our Sea Freight shipment that is currently being prepared.
The parts are Pu-Rim material and the fit and finish is perfect, and light weight.
Part number is #51W2050500
Please feel free to PM or email me for pricing.
Thank you!
Jim

$300 at the parts department. It comes primed so you have two options. One, have it wrapped in gloss black or even the cf material. Two...have it painted to match or in gloss black.
It attaches in minutes with double side sticky tape.

And, despite 3M's best efforts, too many have been reported coming loose over the years. Inadequate surface prep? Inadequate pressure? Applied at sub-optimal surface temperature? Who knows? Use a bead of urethane (MB sells their own), tape the spoiler down in the right position with "blue" tape for a day while the car sits still (no body flexing). They guy behind you on the highway will thank you.

Sweet! Now I know exactly what my car will look like if I buy the accessory spoiler but I think I'd have it painted to match...I also want to add the roof spoiler and I'll just wrap it in gloss black to blend with the glass. I used to have one on my Saab 9-3 Aero and I loved the look.

If you want a little more aggessive looking deck, I was informed that Germany will send me a few of the Carlsson spoilers via air freight.
Feel free to pm me for a price and availability.

Not sure if you were asking for the factory deck or the Carlsson Version, attached is a close up of the Carlsson deck showing the detail of the part as it carries over the rear quarter panels, and a front view showing how the deck gives the rear a more aggressive look.
The stock deck makes the rear look too similar to a CLA, where the Carlsson Deck gives the car a wider more aggressive look.
I hope this helps.
