Key Problem

Twice now the key won't unlock the doors to my C220. I've switched keys and no problem. Both times it has happened outside of my house, so not sure if there is something making this happen.
Obviously, I will be taking this to the dealer but I was wondering if anyone else has had this happen and if there was an easy fix I can do myself.
Thanks for your input.

Could be something as simple as a weak battery.

It has happened with both keys and the car is only three months old. My E Class had the same system and no problems in the three years I had it.
It just seems odd that it has only happened in front of my house. Not sure if that has something to do with it.

Do you have any tint on your windows? Certain metallic tints have been know to disrupt RF signals such as the one required for the key

Did you try to reset the pairing?
