Auto light delay - how do you turn this on?

My car has a Premium 1 package, but does anyone know how to turn on the Auto light delay function?

I want to turn off the engine, leave the car and have the headlights and tailights stay on for about 60 seconds or so.

Thanks, that works. I couldn't find the answer in the manual or COMAND manual.. is there a way to set the light delay to work even when it isn't "dark" outside? Like when it's raining and fairly gloomy out.

No; The system decides for you if it is dark enough (or not ;-)

Yep it works on mine. Can hold down the lock button and close windows. Very convenient.

No. But I don't see why it would be required. It worked on my previous BMW, which admittedly did have keyless go, but also the one before that which did not. There is no reason this should be tied to keyless go.

Care to share the secret? I tried multiple times, never got it to work on either of my two W204s or my new W205.
On my BMW it was simply to keep the lock/unlock pressed for something like 2 or 3 seconds which would open and close all windows simultaneously. No matter how long I keep the buttons pressed with the MB, nothing happens.

What region are you in?

Try standing on driver side of car and key fob pointed to driver door handle.

At least that's how it works on the E class. It's an infrared sensor and not a radio frequency. Therefore you have to be near that particular door.

While my previous W204 did have a area on the driver door handle that could have had an infrared sensor behind it, there is no such area on my W205 door handle.

In any case, pointing the remote at the door handle from just a few inches and keeping the unlock button pressed does not open the windows.

The W205 doesn't have remote open/close windows feature?! It's really useful especially during summer, and in my current BMW works fine: I can push the remote and when I reach the car windows are all open!

Using the fob also opens/closes the sunroof as well as the windows

I just tried it on my car, which has Keyless Go, and could not open the windows by holding down the unlock button on the fob. I haven't tried closing the windows with the fob yet, but I have my doubts.

Several functions are linked to the optional memory package, which adds memory and power head rests to the passenger's seat. I wonder if this is another one of those oddities.

I have used both the open and close function from my key fob with no problems.
What is interesting is that it now works as a truly remote feature. If I am recalling correctly it only worked when I was next to the driver side door, on the W205 it works from both sides.

Do you have the memory settings and power head rest for the passenger seat? If yes, you have the memory package.

The option packages are different for every market, so this can get confusing.

No my C300 does not have passenger memory seat. Unfortunately in Canada you only get Passenger memory seat and powered head rest with the C400.
