Recommended tyre pressure for 16"

I am putting on 16" 205/16 wheels and tyres (Goodyear Ultragrip 9, good alround tyre for UK winters) for winter (summer 17" 225/17). The pressure shown on filler cap does not state any wheel size just the pressure for 2 people & fully laden, unlike the W204 which had different pressures for different wheels sizes. So what pressure do I set my winters too? The filler cap pressure is 250 kpa/36 psi.

16 inch wheels will not fit the new C-Class. I've already tried ...

In Italy for the entry level engines those weels are standard "Cerchi in lega da 16" COMFORT-ECO a 15 razze pneumatici 205/60 R16". The manual (at least the Italian O/L one) says that if tyre pressure is not indicated on the fuel cap you should use the one of the most similar tyres shown. In addition as you are talking about winter tyres you should consider -1,5 PSI any - 10°C

Well they fit my C 200 Sport.
Wheel manufactures are starting to make wheels with correct offset and with location for the TPMS sensors for the W205.

European models have smaller brakes?

The 16 inch wheels from my previous C300's snow tires would not fit around the brakes of my new C300. I've had to sell them.

Do european models have smaller brakes?

It probably depends from weight and power (not country). For ex. on the 250 AWD 16' weels are not available maybe because it has bigger disks...
