how do you watch youtube videos?
with multimedia package i heard you can watch youtube videos when the car is at a standstill. how?

I would think there would also be a you tube app for "Carplay"

Does anybody know when Carplay is definitely coming out?

Yes you can use the web app in COMAND and it plays videos beautifully but it's kind of hard to navigate. I'll try YouTube.com/TV (looks like an app but in browser - for use with your actual TV) tomorrow as I think it'll work smoother.

Are you able to watch you tube / movies from the web app whilst driving? or does the screen black out..... If screen blacks out can you still hear the sound??

The screen blacks out of course but the audio still plays. I believe Youtube playlists keep playing as well but I haven't tried that out myself.

Yes I do. Works nicely but a bit slower than I expected it to be because I have 4G connectivity.

Is there any way to code out the blackout? So it can play videos/dvd while driving? I had this done to my f30 335i? Can mbenz be coded?

Yes you can go to DVDinMotion.com and they have a process for Mercedes cars that works.

Has anybody in the US actually been able to play Youtube videos on the Comand screen through the browser? Every time I try to watch a video, it rapidly re-buffers then shows the video as played but will not actually play the video or the sound.

Did u or anyone no away to play videos because when I play a video it buffers and then shows me the video as it was already played
