Hello everyone new here and first time poster. Have had my c300 luxury for a week now and so far I've loved almost everything and is a huge upgrade after coming from a 2008 c300.
But one problem I've had is that the sunglass holder I tried using on the first day is stuck after trying to use it and I can't get it open. Have a dealer appointment Monday just wondering if anyone else has had this issue?
Nice pics...looks like what I recently ordered. Couldn't find a C300 with all the options I wanted, so mine should be delivered in Jan '15. Can't wait.
Very nice ... I hadn't seen the orange indicators on the side before. Do they light up as well as the top strip of lights over the DRL's? (Only) That top strip lights up (orange) as indicator on my Dutch w205 ...

Orange side marker is for parking and night time - lights up.
Orange LEDS on top of DRL is for turn signal/emergency only
Ok got an update, went to the dealer yesterday and the tech looked and tried to fix it but couldn't. So they have to order a whole new sunglass holder which has to come from Germany and will take 2 weeks.
Also, my service rep said this is the second car they had to order one for so it might be an early production issue...

As you are attempting to open the sunglass holder, try pressing lightly on the rear of the door mechanism. It's closest to the hinge and will likely free up the whole works. It worked for me. Hope this helps
Same thing happened to me. I just picked my new 2015 C 300 on Friday afternoon. Saturday I put my ray bans in the sunglasses holder and closed it to try it out. Now it is stuck shut. Not the best design. Sales rep said to expect a call in a few days to see how things are going. Figured that I would tell them at that point.
Does anybody know the Mercedes part number for the sunglasses holder and where you could buy it? I've been searching online without success. I need to replace mine. Perhaps my best bet is the MB dealer...

why would you want to pay out of your pocket? it's a warranty item. The dealer will take care of it. Mine was broken and it was fixed free of charge.
