Australian orders slipping..?
I just got told by my dealer that my order won't deliver until mid-February now. I initially had a January 15 estimate.
How's everyone else down-under going with their delivery?

Mine was mid Nov, then told 10 Dec, now back to 23rd Nov. Fortitude Valley MBB. Fingers crossed. Waiting for the ship to cross the Indian Ocean...
Are you checking in with them or are they proactively telling you?

Had a call from a sales rep due to a change in staff at the dealership. I asked about delivery whilst talking to them and that's when he told me the new date. That makes it 5 months for me (ordered 2nd week of SEP) and to tell the truth I'm really not that impressed with the whole process anymore because the guy I ordered the car from told me last month that MB was committed to making their estimates more accurate after the CLA debacles. I'll probably pull the pin if they keep pushing the date.

Ordered 1st week of Sept, ETA late Nov. The timing is more about what options etc. I assume some of the others have airmatic etc which would have added time to my ETA.

Either they've underestimated demand, or more likely is that the SA build plants for RHD vehicles are just not keeping up.

I ordered mine from Ballarat Mercedes (Victoria, Australia) on the 13/10/14 with a production date scheduled on the 01/12/14 and then it's due to arrive 30/01/14..... I added all packages except the air suspension package. Jeez I hope it doesn't get delayed!
Apparently there is a 2 week plant shutdown at the South Africa plant over Christmas and travel from SA will take around five weeks to Australia
