Interesting conclusion that the C300 with base suspension is the way to go. I would agree, since that's what I have, but I think the majority here would argue that point.

2015 C300 RWD
Wonder how they favor the RWD C300 when it hasn't been made available to the press.

If $$ an issue, go with the base model/suspension. From my tests, isn't the best value, but to each their own.
