Is it possible to run iGo Primo on 2015 C300?

I found the Garmin really hard to use.

It's mentioned that it has "SD-Card Navigation Pre-wiring".

Is it possible to run iGo Primo on a SD-card?

Thanks

Don't think so: the HW may be there but the integration with touchpad and other controls it's another story. As far as I know IGo is intended for touchscreen-based devices and MB doesn't have any, moreover it's produced in different versions depending from the platform: IOS, Android and WIN and I don't know if Audio 20 has any of them (maybe it could be based on Lynux)

You are right that the user interface might be less friendly. However, touch screen is more of OS function and iGO (not primo) has PC version before. So I was hoping there is some after market stuff. Does anyone know what OS is running behind?

Normally, I'd abandon the in-dash navigation. But this 2015 model has this LCD sticking out. It looks awkward to have another one. Does anyone find a good way to mount a standalone GPS unit right above it?

Thanks

I am in an above ground parking lot but you get the general idea of the 3D buildings

I am sure you can find a way to do this, the real question is why?
It will definitely make both the Command and attached GPS setup look like an after thought.
All portable GPS are touch screen, so you will be reaching up to program location, etc, unless you find an easy dismount solution.
The Mercedes GPS is considered one of the industry best.
There are several settings that can enhance your Navigation screen.
Showing upcoming side streets, birds eye view, 3D in built up areas, etc.
Here is an example of what the 3D screen looks like;

Do you mean the Garmin Map Pilot ? Or just an external device ?

I have been trying to get more info on it (Garmin Map Pilot) since its not available here in Canada and my dealer has no clue. Even started a thread for it but only crickets so far!

The US edition of C300 does not have a 3.5mm audio jack. This takes most of standalone GPS out of the question. I've tried to put another software on SD card and name the EXE file navi_pch.exe. But it failed to run (complains about software not found SD card). So I'd forced to use Garmin, unfortunately.
