Finally my Air Balance package works. It was a kinked hose above the glove compartment. Took it in for service A and I mentioned (again) that no smell could be sensed.

my car is supposed to be build Feb 8, should be already code red.
is this package still able to install in the car ?
i bought this on amazon, not sure if it works or just a waste of money.

So I installed the air freshener a month ago. Honestly, I can't tell a difference in the cabin, but the system does detect it. i have the setting on high. The actual canister in the glove box hasn't gone down at all. So, just wondering what other people's experience is.

A 222 890 01 00 HOUSING PERFUME ATOMIZER
A 055 545 57 28 . PLUG
A 205 800 00 00 HOSE ASSEMBLY
A 000 995 44 14 LINE HOLDER
for the ionizer though, you'd have to remove the dash and/or heads up display if you have one.
the parts are:
A 205 835 06 00 IONIZER
A 000 994 27 45 FUSE
A 222 890 01 00 HOUSING PERFUME ATOMIZER
A 055 545 57 28 . PLUG
A 205 800 00 00 HOSE ASSEMBLY
A 000 995 44 14 LINE HOLDER
for the ionizer though, you'd have to remove the dash and/or heads up display if you have one.
the parts are:

i'm currently using this:
i strongly recommend this air freshner. Very classy smell, does not overpower and give headaches.
And it fits perfectly either on the center console cup holders or the door cup holders.

i'm an original kickstarter backer of this product.
it works, but not instantly. requires time, eliminates odors over time.
You recharge every 2 months by placing them under direct sunlight.
it's a more natural way to eliminate odors. i smoke about half a pack of ciggarettes on my car a day, so i use these to neutralize the tobacco odors. no air freshner in the world can get rid of ciggarette smells, however this product will do it over time. KEYWORD: OVER TIME.

i emailed 2 dealers and a aftermarket shop about retrofit air balance package 3 months ago, they all ignored me. now with parts available, i hope the dealer able to retrofit it.

Hi, when you say you installed the air freshner, was that the whole system or just the fragrence cylinder? I'm interested in sourcing the parts from MB and doing a retro fit of this system, I'm wondering how much work is envolved, does the system need to be rpogrammed and what MB are likely to charge me for the parts.

I have a 2017 C63 with Air Balance. The the factory supplied sent container ran out a couple of weeks ago. Replacements were $130. Ouch!!!
I unscrewed the top of the old cartridge using vice grips, cleaned out the oil residue and added Fabeze !
Works great!
