Audio input quality?

I've been using my Android device via bluetooth to stream music. I've found the volume is not that loud on the Burmester system.

Wondering what the quality/volume difference is if connected via USB cable?

Anyone tested this?

Thanks

If I'm not mistaken you would also need to turn-up the volume on your phone as well. It still may not increase it to as loud as you'd like but it may help if you haven't tried that.

I thought so...mmm...I'm thinking out loud here...if you connect via USB cable then it's not "Bluetooth" but will appear as another "media device". In that case the volume will be affected by the volume recording levels of the music source. I noticed the volume difference as well when listening to music via Bluetooth. Using the Burmester I was still able to raise the volume enough for my enjoyment...however warning warning...do not select radio until you've reduced the volume back down...I almost blew my eardrums out!!

yeah, I'll try with the USB cable, but even if it is louder, not sure I would go that route since wireless bluetooth is key.

Also make sure there is no separate volume level for Bluetooth audio on the phone.

Just as a counter point, streaming from Spotify through both my Galaxy S4 and Nexus 6 the sound quality is excellent. I find that bluetooth is the highest quality, followed by HD FM radio, THEN satellite.

Does anybody know how to make songza or Rdio work from the car, like as a car app? I don't mind using my phone as hotspot. I dropped my phone and my Bluetooth no longer works
