Can AMG Line use 17" inch tyres?
I'm going to buy studded winter tyres. The dealers are all offering me 18" inch wheels, but i want a bit less noise so i'm aiming for size 225/50/17.
AMG line has different looking brake discs, but are they larger in diameter than normal ones and what about the calipers?
The alloys i'm buying are german made AEZ Portofino Black. I even asked AEZ about it, but they didn't know (information not available)
Anyone here have 17" inch wheels on AMG Line version?

Does it not tell you in the onboard manual? Also on the filler flap are 17" tyre pressures mentioned.

I have asked several dealers, The importer and even AEZ. They all basically say that they don't know.

I tried 16" (ET38 as per manual, Dezent TG) on my C200 but the front caliper was mili metres from wheel and the outer balancing weights actually touched the calipers.

If i understood correctly, the mytyres webpage says they won't fit.
I just have to try then and hope for the best. My dealer now answered and said they should fit. He was quite sure about it.

Yes,
If you have a C200 AMG you have the smaller size calipers and rotors, this vehicle can use 16" wheels
I have confirmed that a 16x7,5 wheel with ET45 fits
17x7 ET48 works as well.
The larger C250 and up brakes require 17x7,5 ET45 or larger

Resurrecting this thread to see if anyone else has fitted 17” wheels over then OEM brakes on the sports model? I just got a c350e with the 18s and while fine would prefer a cushier ride and square setup
according to this site at least: many of the staggered and square 17s will fit
https://configurator.mercedes-benz-a...ransporter=car
thanks!

After a bit more research, taking a few different Wheels' part numbers. I found that most online sites confirm that these 17" ET48.5 wheels do fit the C350e Sport that I assume has the same brakes as C300 Sports.
They don't however fit cars w/ 486 (sport suspension) - https://www.kunzmann.de/shop/en/tire...ium-silver.htm
The C350e I have has the following
483 AIRMATIC Dynamic Handling Package
489 Air Suspension
I think I'll take the chances and get a set and put on some Michelin Energy Savers and get some more MPGs from the PHEV 205... now onto which style...
