Tint Question
Hi - I am wondering if anyone has tinted their 2015 C Class and have any defroster light distortion on the back window? If Yes, how bad is it?
I got 18% all around Suntek Carbon Series installed .... light distortion from headlights at night time is quite noticeable. i have had previous cars tinted as well but never had an issue this bad. Its been over 2 weeks now the tint seems to be cured but the light distortion hasn't gone away.
Please chime in ... (any tint installer on this forum?)
Thanks
RK

I have 35% tint and had it installed back on October, it's slightly better than the first few weeks but it has never gone away completely.
I've read it could be the angle of the back window that can make it more noticeable.

I've had Suntek film carbon and CXP installed (on other cars) and didn't experience that issue after it dries, which when park in full sunlight is only a day. If it's not apparent on other windows which probably came off the same roll of time, likely you're right, it has to do with the rear window defrost.
