I have a c43, 20 x 8.5 front w/ 245/30 20 and 20 x 10 rear w/ 275/30 20 non runflat dws Conti's, 38psi f/ 36psi r, lowered on h&r springs. I live in socal.
Idk mike, you might wanna come down... i'll take you for a spin, we'll have some steaks and some drinks after... you might change your mind...

I don't find the tires tall nor narrow front and rear view at all. As a matter of fact my coworkers always say they like looking at how wide my tires are from the back when they follow me into the parking structure at work.

I also have the amg performance seats, and i had a friend who drives a toyota sienna minivan, stock. He was amazed on how comfortable the ride was! The seats felt like he was planted and wasn't going anywhere. Considering we had to pass through a street under construction with thick metal plates on the ground and the road had kinda uneven rough patches. You never would have thought the car was dropped at all, he said. Although i was in comfort mode, but when we got on the freeway, i had it in sport+. And he still really thought the ride was smooth. He's 71yo btw.
Even with the thinner padding the seats had compared to the regular sport seats. He really was surprised on how smooth the ride was...
Even my girlfriend says so (and she can be brutally honest). Of course ride quality can be subjective too... but, don't knock it 'til you've tried it...

C300 looks really good with 20” wheels

Just wanted to post a pic of my car. C300 20x8.5 / 20x10 staggered setup. This picture is before the H&R Sport springs. There’s perfect 1inch of wheel gap after the drop. No tire rub at all. Approx 2” of wheel gap in this pic. Same overall diameter as the stock 17” wheels and tires... so yeh they fit and they look good and kinda stockish even. 😏

Thanks! Yes, lowered on H&R springs. But, I’ve also switched from 20’s to 19’s. I have a slightly different set-up now, and went with fully forged monoblocks. Currently, I’m running 255/35 19 f, and 295/30 19 r. The wheels are 19 x 8.5f, 19x10r. Still on the same H&R springs.

car looks dope, what offsets are you running on your 19" setup and are the 20" offsets the same as your current setup?

Yes, I already did... it was really good. Clean and smooth... one of the best bang for buck for that age statement.

20's do look good on the car, but in honesty I think the 19 inch set up is the way to go. If you are looking at doing a monoblock 1pc full face type of wheel, then going with a 19 will not disappoint.
If you are doing a lip design, deep dish multi pc etc, then a 19 will look a bit small unless you go with a multi pc step lip design where the spokes of the center reach out into the lip, then you will still have a nice aggressive look.

I hope this info helps!

Jim
hey whats your tire size?

My car is sitting on 19's but 19's came with my car in the first place. If you go with 20's, the only problem I see is the smaller side walls, which also means that you are more likely to get a flat. Also make sure if you don't run run-flat that you get a good tire because a crappy tire will blow out, while a good tire will just bobble out.
