Connect Me
I am trying to find information about this feature but it's not that easy I have found. Like all fun gadgets I presume this will be an optional add on and by no means standard on the w205. I live in Sweden does anyone know what addons I will need to tick to get this? My first guess was Command Online, but when I read up on the specifics on Command online it is no where mentioned about connect me.

Hi, Picked my car up Xmas eve and the dealer had to register me and my car with Mercedes Me at the dealership. You can register but the dealer (here in UK) has to authorise also. I was told this has only recently become available here in the UK.

Here, we have MBrace and MBrace Plus, which must be similar. I opened an account online and was able to activate the various features .... after signing up for the 3 and 6 month trial periods.
The basic package here provides some remote functions ... emergency and road services, plus lock/unlock, and downloading locations to the navigation system via your smartphone. For more money you get the connection to the Internet and the MB apps, such as weather, news, Internet radio, etc.
I have subscribed to the basic package, but find the "Plus" features of very little practical value. It may be different in other parts of the world, but here the connections are very slow. All the apps I've tried were clumsy, and similar apps worked much better on my iPhone. I also find the connection process and selection of apps is quite distracting ... okay for a passenger, but not good for the driver.
My conclusion is that this software is a work in progress and not particularly well executed.

Hi Steve, did the dealer successfully do it? As you can see in the thread in the link nnk posted above my dealer had no idea what to do, so I still don't have this facility.

Yes, worked straight away. I have access on both my laptop & iphone. He did tell me it had just been released in the UK. It doesnt have all the functionality that other countries seem to have though. You cant lock or unlock but you can see tyre pressure, fuel level, washer status, mileage and you can see where your car is parked.

Sadly not, non of that functionality. Personally Im not too keen on the concept of remote locking/unlocking. It would only be a matter of time until someone "cracked" that technology and gained access to our cars!

Just got a reply from Merdeces Sweden - This feature is not available in Sweden right now and we can not give an estimate when or if this will become available.
What the hell!? Haha here I thought I lived in a highly developed country.... Guess that does not apply to cars for 45 000€.....

Hi - Had call from my dealer today to activate the Mercedes Me features. Seems to have taken to few hours to start working but I seem to be connected now.
Features are not earth shattering Tyre pressure/Fluid levels) but hopefully will improve
For those who are still to have this done its maybe worth a telecom with your dealer again

I will have a chat with my local dealer tomorrow and do whatever I can to make sure they build my car with the correct components so that when and if it becomes available in Sweden my car will have it. I dont know if this will be possible but honestly I cant see why not since it will be built in a plant where they build cars for markets where it is available.
Glyn can you tell me what you think, will this be possible? I would just be so frustrated if this option became available 6 months from now and if it cant be fitted afterwards.

Okej so there has been a few holidays in Sweden so I have not been able to get in contact with my dealer. I would appreciate if someone from Germany, UK or some other EU country could give me the specific MB codes required for the Connect ME system.
I got this from the thread that nnk posted, thanks alot buddy!

Spoke to my local dealer today...It seems he cant order these components since the Connect Me system has not been greenlit yet in Sweden. I know you guys cant give me an answer about the following question but in you experience will it be possible to retrofit such a feature, it sounds to me like that can be really expensive
