20 below zero F this morning. Did the car start?
I have an unheated garage, so starting the car in the morning can be a challenge. The last few cars I've had did well, and I never had to install a block heater in any of them. This was the first real test for my C300.
Outside temperature was -20F and the wind chill was -47F, so not a good time to take a walk or sit out on a lounge chair. My wife had a morning appointment, so she had to go out and start the car. It started without the slightest hesitation. So, in spite of all the other issues I've already experienced with my bleeding edge C300, cold weather starting isn't going to be one of them.
And yes .. she came back into the house and let the car warm up for ten minutes, with the seat heater on, before driving off.
Nice to have something good to report.

That's why you need a SAE 0W-40 oil. With modern fuel injection, cold starting & stable cold running should not be an issue.
