North American VIN # Recall Checker
I posted this a while back, but with all the recent issues some are having with out USA builds it might be useful.
This is from the MBUSA website.
Just put in your VIN # (Canadians VINs work as well )
http://www.mbusa.com/mercedes/recall
It appears to be updated on a regular basis.

Canadian Vin #s
I inputed my car's Vin # and it stated that there are no recalls outstanding, when in fact my car is being recalled by MB Canada.
So I would not say that the MBUSA system is accurate for Canadian production.

What I get when I put in my Canadian VIN#
The results of my Canadian VIN
A lot of the USA links don't seem to give Canadians the full scoop.

Mercedes C300, BMW X5
I checked the website. As it turns out, I need to bring C300 in to inspect the tire if it needs to be recalled. This is surprising consider I just received the car on December 31st, 2014! The recall has been going on for a while.

You don't need to take it to the dealer to check whether your tires are recalled. Go to the Continental tire website and it will tell you how to determine if your tires are part of the recall.
