I've got it and here in brisbane australia we have some 40 degrees got days. The glass is heat insulated and i didn't notice a difference between my car and the wifes. If you get it you won't regret it!

In Florida it's perfect weather, but too sunny most of the year for panoramic sunroof, today included. Most of the factory spec'd cars (and not just from MBUSA) get them here too. I've had them and keep them closed after the first few "ah that's neat' moments before full sun. If custom ordering, I'd skip it, and in W205 it also takes too much headroom away.

If rear seat headroom is important, you do get about an inch more room without the panoramic roof.
Regarding heat, or the lack of it, I can only comment on how the roof behaves in the cold since we won't see any heat up here until next June or July. At sub zero F temperatures, there is no cold radiating from the roof with the screen in place. Without the screen, you can feel the cold if your put your hand right up to the glass. It seems to have no effect on cabin temperature one way or the other. The glass seems to be very well insulated.
