They'll offer it but in terms of what it'll cost...I think that will depend on how much you can negotiate. I don't know if tire/wheel insurance is something that can be purchased aside of from the dealership...if so you may want to go that route.

Don't know if it'll help you guys in the US but I bought the 5 yr MB tire/ rim protector pkg for my wife's GLK. It was $750.00 CDN. It covers as many fixes or replacements as are necessary and extends to the winter tires/rims that I purchased as long as the price of each of these is equal to or of lesser value than the OEM tires and wheels....which they are. You're not required to buy replacements from the dealership either - my tires/ rims usually come from Tire Rack. It's fully transferable to the next Benz within the 5 yr period. Didn't buy it for my car, will consider it though for the new C later this year. I would assume MBUSA offers a similar program?

I waived this option but from my MB dealer yesterday:
5 yr MB tire/rim protection pkg for C300 is $1,410;
5 yr MB tire/rim protection pkg, paintless dent & ding removal with Windshield Replacement is $2,750.
According to my dealer, only available purchase the day of your delivery and not available once you leave with your car.
