Has anyone else noticed that the door handles are all done in a metallic paint finish even though the body paint is a solid color? I have the regular solid black and all four of my door handles are in metallic black finish. I thought it was a mistake until I looked at a few other cars on the dealer lot and they were all the same. Anyone know the reason for this?

Money, each handle they dont have to paint a certain color is a tonne of money saved. It has always been this way regarding Mercedes and solid/metallic black.
