Peanut butter
a small tip from the kitchen cupboard: I removed the wax residue from my black plastic parts like the lower part of the bumper and side mirrors with peanut butter. Rub in with a cloth, leave it for a couple of minutes, and wipe clean with some hot water.

Calvé Pindakaas (Dutch brand). Sure you can buy something but how frequent do you use this? Now you have some at hand, the remainer will make a nice sandwich! (have my doubts on this part with any other detailing product...)

I have used peanut butter on my Z3s black plastic door handles many times. Not only does it remove the white of old excess wax, it leaves a nice matte sheen. An old trick but a good one.

Yeah...I typically keep my food products and car products separate. You can buy products specifically for that...it's like folks who want to clean their headlights with toothpaste...

In Japan, it's much easier to find car-specific products than peanut butter.
Probably wouldn't make much of a sandwich, though. :p
