What are you glad you did get?

I have had a few niggles with my car but overall I am very pleased with it. There is a regrets thread on here and whilst useful to read I thought it may also be helpful for people looking to purchase/configure their car to hear from people who have buyed and tried some of the options...

For me...
HUD- love it and have it on all the time.
Seat comfort- was thrown in as an extra and I wasn't that interested in it however with the extra lumber support I now no longer haver a lower back pain after driving.
Intelligent LED - really superb and quite speccy. I optioned this with the vision pack and it has exceeded my expectations.
Panoramic roof- my little boy loves this especially at night looking up at the stars. He's always asking me to open it. I like the extra light and spaciousness it gives.
Burmester sound system- confession time- and I may sound like a bit of a dick, I got it because I fell in love with the speakers. I think they look soo beautiful. As it turns out the sound is pretty good too
Comand- I am enjoying the larger screen, the great navigation, the voice control works well for me.
Blind spot assist is very practical and useful.
Rear camera has a wide and clear angle.
I have used the active parking a couple of times- I had to work up to this one. I am pretty ok at parking so this is just for the pure wizardry and fun.
There is more but this is already a bit of a wall of text and I would be interested in what others have to say

I almost didn't get the multimedia pkg but I'm so glad I did. As you said, the larger screen really makes a difference. I also love the Navi.

My favorite has to be the leather though. I forgot what fresh leather smells like. The first thing people want to see are the red seats. They are a perfect shade of red in my opinion.

After having the car for almost a week, the upgraded lights are a head turner. I catch people all the time being mesmerized by them.

Glad I did get the C300. Coming from an Acura TL which I loved and it served me well for 9 years. I was a week from signing for a 2015 Acura TLX which is also in its first year body style. I didn’t even considered the C300 until my better half encourage me to at least look at the other manufacturers. Well long story short, fell in love with the C300 after looking at BMW, Infinity, and Lexus.

Also glad I got these in order of preference:

HUD
Keyless entry
Driver asst package
Premium package
MM package

Juniors still out on:
Panorama roof
Light package

Just picked mine up last Friday, had clear bra installed on front end, bumper, headlights, mirrors, door handle cups, door edges and luggage area. (guy did an incredible job and wrapped all the edges). I then had the rest of the car opticoated. Mine is a C300 Sport in Palladium with Red/Black/Black Ash. I ordered mine with all the tech options but omitted the sunroof (which I never use) and the air balance thing. I have been learning my car mainly by studying the Digital Owners Manual then trying stuff out. I love the color combination on my car as well as the AMG style wheels that come standard with the sport package. I really like the leather interior and the extra features that come with leather like passenger seat memory, ventilated seats etc. As far as the tech goes I love the Distronic Cruise and Lane assist as well as parktronic but my favorite is the Airmatic Suspension. It real improvement over the ride quality of the steel sport suspension. My car has so far not displayed any of the problems that other have reported on this site although mine does have a slight mis-matching of the upper part of the bumper covers. (I may or may not attempt to have it shimmed). There is nothing on my car that I regret ordering and my only complaint is the navigation doesn't display current speedlimit like all of my other vehicle GPS's do.

How funny, I was also a week away from ordering a 2015 Acura TLX when I decided to take the MB C300 for a test drive and it was all over. The Acura had a lot of options and very attractive from a cost prospective but just didn't have the emotional connection I had with the C300. I just didn't want another car that I didn't love just because it made sense. I will check back when I receive my car in May

Parktronic - MB is the only manufacturer to put sensors on the front fenders which makes parking in my tight parking space alongside a concrete column in our building's garage very, very effortless.

V6/C400 - AMG styling package looks incredible.

Panoramic roof - It looks great with Polar White.

Burmester - It's really been growing on me these past few months. Once it's been tuned, the sound is amazing. I also must say that I think the placement of the volume knob is very intuitive too.

I also must say that the car has been excellent in the snow, and I've got plenty of it.

Likes... the 3M Scratch Removal Kit.

I had five 'mysterious' clear coat scratches to my new 2month old C400, had to get it fixed and tried the kit and it worked wonderfully... but beware you will need to take a 3000grit sander to the clear coat

Well, I have had a loaner for the last couple of days- getting the bumper and fuel filler door fixed- and a very good job was done thank you very much. The loaner was a 2014 SLK 250 and I AM VERY GLAD I GOT A C CLASS!

It was a great opportunity to drive something very different for a couple of days but after 24 hours I just wanted my C back. I found the SLK quite a stressy car whereas with the C I would finish a journey more relaxed than when I started. The C just suits me more. The SLK was a bit of fun but no good to me as a daily driver, whereas I imagine some people really love their SLK's because it suits their life and driving style.
Stunning looking car.

Got mine yesterday, also after a 3.5 month wait, but, it's worth it! Have only driven it 30 miles or so, but the ride is miles above my 2010 LaCross. Drove in the aftermath of the Memphis ice storm (hey, we got hit pretty badly for a place that only knows snow by pictures on the tv, 2 in or so of sleet/freezing rain turned to slush, then it all froze), so riding a lot on frozen slush. Still trying to get things adjusted, things are very different from the LaCross. Things like the panorama roof will have to wait until the spring thaw, which will probably be next week. Premium interior with linden wood is bee--utiful. Did some playing around with the Burmester, not sure which I like better, faux surround or plain stereo. Downside is no remote start, I got very used to that with my LaCross.

I finally had a chance to drive my C300 at night and the LED headlights are fantastic. I got both the Premium Package and Lighting Package so I'm not sure which one (or both) provides these lights, but they light up the road like it is daytime. The auto high beams work seamlessly as does the active curve illumination.

These lights are so bright I just hope people don't flash their high beams at me.

If I were to only get one option, this would be at the top of the list, along with Airmatic.

Aren't these supposed to 'black out' any light shining towards other cars? In which case someone getting dazzled isn't an option.

I think that is on the European cars...not in the U.S.
