1. Move the front park tropic display lower down the screen so you can actually see it when parking.
2. Display messages that actually relate to the problem eg door open rather than transmission slippage failure or such like that have no bearing on what is happening.

Aside from going to the dealer and asking them to check (for a fee or concurrent with another problem I'm assuming), how could one find out if/when any software/firmware updates are available for the car/tranny/comand?

Please note: I am looking for Garmin to read traffic (text-to-speech, with details for MY route) to me ... Not for Audio 20 to just play the (TMC TA) traffic announcement on the radio ...

As much as I hate say it, Comand is on par with iDrive in 2007. My last BMW was really well integrated with mobile apps. The display is great looking though.
I cannot stand that almost every time I plug in my iPhone, it insists upon playing my music alphabetically. Drives me nuts.

My previous car BMW 328i 2012 did same thing when iPhone 6 was connected. It would play songs in alphabet order. Not the C300 as of today it states either nothing connected or if it does show connected it then displays "No audio or video files" and have almost 80GB of music on it. I have it connected via USB to Lightning Connector that came with car. Bluetooth connects. Well kinda...phone calls have issues as I noted on another post as that person stated same issue. Disconnects during calls or shows call ended but call is not ended. The music works thru bluetooth fine but in order to change tracks I have to get the phone out of pocket. Might as well connect to USB/Lightning connector to charge it then. Plus to any cops driving by it looks like I'm texting if I'm looking for music on my phone to play. There are texting while driving tickets in Nevada. They do enforce it too. Command sucks!

You can change a setting to have it play randomly instead of alphabetically upon start up. Either way, I find it annoying that it sometimes just starts playing.

- Fix the iPod/iPhone/iPad interface. Now, it seems to freak out with podcasts (can't find some, stops playing, doesn't start from where it was left off COMAND even reset itself a couple of times)
- I suspect this is because (a) podcasts are from a separate app (Podcasts) instead of integrated into Music, and (b) the Podcast app shows episodes even when they haven't been downloaded from the cloud.
- In any case, this needs a firmware/software change
Now if I could only get Siri working right.

The reason is MB used the Eco mode to get the best gas mileage ratings on the car. Here in the US, that means we're stuck with re-selecting the agility mode we like, every time we start the engine.

I was told by my dealer that the "comfort" mode was used for the mileage figures because it represented a "real world" environment (AC, shift points) for the car and therefore it is default. Also I am sure the tire pressure of 46psi as the car leaves Vance is also figured in.
Doesn't matter either way. It's unlikely MBUSA is ever going to give the option to program and set the agility select feature.

Couple of simple things for the HUD please....
First up, add Gear display to the HUD - it would make driving in manual perfect. Second, please, please, add the Park sensor display to the HUD, or at least move it within the driver display to the bottom, where I can see it!

- Add volume scale on the display (you don't know how high the volume is until the music starts).
- Move the position of song name. It's too far to the right and the album is under the artist (completely useless).
- An option to have all driving data on the big display (fuel ø, odometer, power usage,... everything on one big screen).
+1 - Cover art over Bluetooth.
+1 - Door open indicator when not moving.
+1 - Odometer on all instrument display types.
