I only have 'VIP' emails showing notifications, and they come through very rarely, so I haven't noticed this. Maybe I'll have my wife email me this afternoon when I'm driving home to test it.

C220d AMG Line

Windows Phone text reading

My Windows Phone so nearly works with text messages, If I receive a text while driving the phone sounds, then the music stops for 30seconds, but silence comes out until the music starts again...

In a way it's more annoying than not working at all, as at least then I can ignore the text and carry on listening to music...

Any ideas?

Mine works fine for audio read out of the text message. I have a Lumia 1520 (my work phone).

If I have a bluetooth connection between my iphone and my smartwatch, I'll never get text message notifications. No sound, no icon, no text. If I turn the bluetooth connection off between my iphone and watch, text message notification works fine.

As clunky as the comand interface is, the favorites feature is really great.

I think it is strange how Comand Does not display messages automatically. My 2015 Jeep had an audible message, "You have a new text message from...." And a pop up to play the message in spoken word.

You could crash a car trying to go thru the Comand system. Silly omission.

I will explore the short cut option, thanks Richard.
