Do You Hit Your Head Entering The New C-Class?
We had seen it and done a test drive...now we had one for a day as a loaner.
I'm not that tall (5'10"), but every time I entered the car my head hit the door frame. I couldn't figure a way to enter that avoided that...ultimately using the the frame as a support to crouch while entering. Inside, no problem other than than being noticeably smaller than our E-class and maybe the last C-class.
Are others having this problem? Have you found a way around the problem?
Thanks,
David

I'm 6 feet tall. I never hit my head getting into the front seat of a new C Class. I never even thought about it. It hasn't been an issue. There is certainly more room up front than the W204. Getting into the back seat is a tighter fit. I fit with an inch of headroom to spare without the pano roof. With a pano roof, my head brushes the headliner. That's why I didn't get the roof. I rarely have someone in the back seat though.

I'm 6'3" and have never hit my head getting into or out of the car. Once in, I have generous front headroom, even with the Pano roof. I do have my seat adjusted to the lowest position, which is how most taller drivers would have it adjusted.
The rear seat is a whole other issue, but I never sit there ... especially when I'm driving.

The door frame height is the same with and without the moon roof. Interior headroom is less with the Pano roof, but that shouldn't have any effect on entry or exit clearance.

Yes, but I never said where I hit my head, the lower interior headroom is an issue for me.

6'1" here with bad knees, pano roof and no problems. I have more of a problem getting in and out of the mustang on the left but it's also more fun.

I have hit my head a few times getting into mine. Glad I'm not the only one. Only once was hard. I have to be cognizant when getting in not to hit it (I duck my head down slightly). I'm 5'10 also with a long torso! I have the seat back quite a bit and low, but it doesn't help me any.

6'1" .. went to step into the car and only remember waking up on the ground with a big bruise on the side of my head. Nah, only kidding. No issue here either. I did however manage to get bashed in the back of the head by the boot lid though.
