Cleaning Products
Hey Guys,
I wanted to enquire to see what everyone is using for cleaning and maintaining their Mercedes inside and out? Just got the C400 and its my first German car and I'm obsessed
Exterior:
What products do you guys use and how regularly do you wash?
Do you wax your car and if so how regularly?
Interior:
What products do you use?
I have the Piano Finish and I need to constantly keep wiping it. Do you guys know of anything I can use to keep that thing clean lol.

I like to use a variety of products from Griot's Garage. A lot of people out there also like Chemical Guys products as well. I have a few of there stuff and it is very good.
I clayed and waxed my C400 the first opportunity I got and plan on waxing it every 4-6 months depending upon my free time. I try to just wash it normally whenever its dirtier than what a duster and some waterless car wash spray can't fix.

I wash the car once a week with a gentle car wash. Will clay probably once a year with a couple of layers of wax on top. I use Meguires products usually but there's lots of products out there.303 aerospace for rubber and plastics. The main issue where I am is sun. I use a foil windscreen shade when parked to protect the dash and keep the car from turning into an oven.

This is going to sound pretty **** but here goes: I keep a microfibre glove in the centre compartment and give the piano black console a quick wipe when I get in the car. Keeps it clean and dust free- that thing really shows every speck.

I use this in my B class (glossy wood finish, as well as leather-look plastic surfaces). Much like my ex-gf, it's quick and easy:
Works great on dust. Not as effective on fingerprints.
