Hello,

I am using a windows phone, Lumia 1020 from Nokia.
The Audio 20 receives all contacts automatically.

Now the funny thing. Not all contacts are visible.
It seams that all telephon numbers are spread out to the contacts visble.
All contacts have like 5 numbers.

I also tried to import contacts, but was not able.

Anybody have had the same issue?
Any solution?

I have a similar issue where some contacts don't show up. Seems to have something to do with if the contact does not have a last name filled in. I fill in something in the last name and re-sync and they show up.

For al my contacts I have first and last name.
The contacts are synced with our corporate phone book.

Can understand the issue when you organize tour phone book: last name first.

Hello,

According to Mercedes-Benz there will be an update by end of may available which should fix the issue with the windows phone and the iPod.
The update still did not arrive in Mexico, but ask in the US, maybe they are faster in delivering to the distributors.

Would be great if anybody could confirm that the update is working.

I am in the UK and the dealers dont have any idea about how to solve and the software update. Can you give me any reference to the update so I can discuss with the dealer.

On the contacts that are not showing up, do you have more than one phone number stored for them ?

Most of my contacts have multiple numbers. If the contact name doesn't show up the numbers for that name are within the next adjacent name that did show up on the car system. All phone numbers are saved on phone non are on the SIM card. Wired.

So it can handle that.


Some of the current phone still can't handle a contact transfer when there are multiple numbers, as they all have different ways of storing them

The following has just been received from the dealer who supplied my car re a software update for windows phones.

Further to our telephone conversation please contact your local dealer to ask if they can install the New software for the Audio 20/command controller unit (A26/17).Ref software E22.2 is available as of Regio-DVD 05/15

Hopefully this will sort the problem with the phone book interface.[/I][/I]

Further to my previous post my dealer installed the new windows phone software update in my W205 C Class and all now works fine, in fact works really well. Contacts display as they should and the short dial is a really quick way to call as saves trawling through the contacts putting letters in.

I also had the sat nav updated and it is now much quicker.

I have a windows phone attached too no problems with the contacts but do have issues with it reading my media when connected using usb. It works first time but then it stops seeing the files. Only way to get it to work again is to reconnect. I'm not aware of any software updates but how are these applied?

Just take it to the dealer and ask them to update to the details given in my previous post
