Thanks for the sleuthing on the Euro Delivery Viper. I guessed that would be the answer but there is always hope. Will ask the dealer if that has changed when I go car shopping in September!

Just heard back from my salesman.He said my order is listed as "Priority 1" scheduled for the 3rd decade in September.He said it may move up,but rarely do they move down.He also indicated that my order is scheduled ahead of his inventory orders.Still no production date or vin#,but geting closer.

I think ours are both scheduled for the same time. Mine was originally scheduled for early October.

Mine also is scheduled for the 3rd decade of Sept. for a late Oct. delivery. Salesman told me when Iordered the car, and have heard nothing since, so I am assuming there is no change.

I am dealer in Hawaii and my personal c450 is scheduled the same decade as you. I will keep track of this thread and keep everyone posted. If you have any questions let me know I have studied this car up and down and explored every option the car.

I hope everyone took the night package for only $300 more.

First off I am Super JEALOUS that you live in paradise.

Do you have any idea what the deal was with the 360 camera ... I had to settle for the rearview camera. I also tried switching to the lighting package but M-B froze any additional changes since it was too close to production.

I had a deposit on the car on 1/12/2015 and will probably be one of the first out of the gate. Last I heard the car will be shipped to the dealer at vehicle launch in early September. I don't need the car until November but I don't have a problem buzzing around town in the new scooter and being the envy of the neighborhood.

What does the night pkg give you other than black front splitter and black exhaust tips on the 450 ? The standard 450 gives you the black window trim which is crucial... if i had my preference, i would get just the front splitter in black as well, but leave the exhaust chrome.. is this even possible ?

Agreed... I didn't want black exhaust tips or black wheels, and the stuff I wanted black already is on the 450.

AS of today my build date is 9/25/15 and its still changeable. Maybe check with your dealer if there are still changeable cars?? It would only be a additional 15-20 days if you can get in the next build of 9-25. The 360 camera is something I am going to miss because I have it on my current E350. Usually with the new releases they hold off on one or 2 core options (I have no idea when) it will be coming out but probably not until January builds in my opinion. I check back everyday to see if its available and still not a option when I build it on the factory screen.

I'm pretty sure it gives you only those 2, but with everything else blacked out I think it will look real nice sepically if u order a white car.

Apparently they change the options on the order sheet. When I was anticipating an order with my salesman there was an option to delete the amg badges on the fenders. When I returned to commit to the order that option was gone. More recently when I thought I would change the color order from white to red, my salesman said ok, but the new order sheet said that because I order leather, I would also have to order the surround sound pkg for another $2100. Whoa! Never mind.

The original quote for myself I had gone with the badge delete but when you configure it with the factory they do not let you remove that. I was bummed because I wanted the car as sleek as possible.
What do you mean because you went from white to red exterior color that you had to order surround sound package? did he mean the P2 package with the burmester?

yes. Apparently that changed. My original order was for the polar white with leather, multimedia and driver's assist. After seeing the red all over utube I thought I'dchange the color. But the new order sheet indicated that somehow leather also included the p2, whichwasn't the case with my original order. So to keep the cost down, I decided to keep it as is. No big deal, but it is an indication that the order form from MB changes as time goes on. I can't imagine it would've been because the salesman didn't want to go to the trouble of changing the order. I'd've thought he would encourage me to spend more money. Rather he seemed to be cautioning me to avoid needless complication.

Bummer on the badge delete. Did this apply to the ones on the trunk lid also? It is actually easy to do it yourself using a heat gun (on low), dental floss (or fishing line) and Goo Gone. The dealer did it for me on my last two cars at no charge. As I recall, he didn't need the heat gun because the adhesive was still pliable since it was only a month since it was built. It took less than 10 minutes per badge.

When we discovered the change on the badge delete, my salesman told me exactly that. He assured me there would be no tell tale sign on the paint of the process, so I will have them do that. Salesman also mentioned that it is not uncommon for Europeans to delete all badging, even from the trunk lid. I think I'll keep the C450 and the 4matic ones though.

I love that idea. I'm not a big fan of the diamond grill and have been wondering about getting the sport grill from a c300 installed. I do have the driver's assist pkg, though and am concerned it may be cost prohibitive.

I'm new to MB, so please bear with my ignorance. In the C class, is there a power delay so you can operate the windows after the car is turned off? And, is there a designated place to keep loose change? (Conveniences in my old Acura that I'm just wonder if I'll have to get used to being without)

when you turn off the car the power will still work in the car until you open the doors that will shut off the system completely. There is not coin slot like how the TL and Tsx had but im sure if you really wanted one of those amazon prob sells that.
