Where you able to get the PO number from the dealer when you ordered?
If your only communication with him was the initial order, I wouldn't hesitate to call him and ask him for the build date and current status.

Just heard back from my salesman.He said my order is listed as "Priority 1" scheduled for the 3rd decade in September.He said it may move up,but rarely do they move down.He also indicated that my order is scheduled ahead of his inventory orders.Still no production date or vin#,but geting closer.

Mine also is scheduled for the 3rd decade of Sept. for a late Oct. delivery. Salesman told me when Iordered the car, and have heard nothing since, so I am assuming there is no change.

Just heard back from my salesman.He said my order is listed as "Priority 1" scheduled for the 3rd decade in September.He said it may move up,but rarely do they move down.He also indicated that my order is scheduled ahead of his inventory orders.Still no production date or vin#,but geting closer.
I hope everyone took the night package for only $300 more.

First off I am Super JEALOUS that you live in paradise. 
Do you have any idea what the deal was with the 360 camera
... I had to settle for the rearview camera. 
I also tried switching to the lighting package but M-B froze any additional changes since it was too close to production. 
I had a deposit on the car on 1/12/2015 and will probably be one of the first out of the gate. Last I heard the car will be shipped to the dealer at vehicle launch in early September. I don't need the car until November but I don't have a problem buzzing around town in the new scooter and being the envy of the neighborhood.

What does the night pkg give you other than black front splitter and black exhaust tips on the 450 ? The standard 450 gives you the black window trim which is crucial... if i had my preference, i would get just the front splitter in black as well, but leave the exhaust chrome.. is this even possible ?

Apparently they change the options on the order sheet. When I was anticipating an order with my salesman there was an option to delete the amg badges on the fenders. When I returned to commit to the order that option was gone. More recently when I thought I would change the color order from white to red, my salesman said ok, but the new order sheet said that because I order leather, I would also have to order the surround sound pkg for another $2100. Whoa! Never mind.

What do you mean because you went from white to red exterior color that you had to order surround sound package? did he mean the P2 package with the burmester?

yes. Apparently that changed. My original order was for the polar white with leather, multimedia and driver's assist. After seeing the red all over utube I thought I'dchange the color. But the new order sheet indicated that somehow leather also included the p2, whichwasn't the case with my original order. So to keep the cost down, I decided to keep it as is. No big deal, but it is an indication that the order form from MB changes as time goes on. I can't imagine it would've been because the salesman didn't want to go to the trouble of changing the order. I'd've thought he would encourage me to spend more money. Rather he seemed to be cautioning me to avoid needless complication.

The original quote for myself I had gone with the badge delete but when you configure it with the factory they do not let you remove that. I was bummed because I wanted the car as sleek as possible.

When we discovered the change on the badge delete, my salesman told me exactly that. He assured me there would be no tell tale sign on the paint of the process, so I will have them do that. Salesman also mentioned that it is not uncommon for Europeans to delete all badging, even from the trunk lid. I think I'll keep the C450 and the 4matic ones though.

I love that idea. I'm not a big fan of the diamond grill and have been wondering about getting the sport grill from a c300 installed. I do have the driver's assist pkg, though and am concerned it may be cost prohibitive.

I'm new to MB, so please bear with my ignorance. In the C class, is there a power delay so you can operate the windows after the car is turned off? And, is there a designated place to keep loose change? (Conveniences in my old Acura that I'm just wonder if I'll have to get used to being without)
