Poor visibility in driver's mirror when raining?
Never experienced this on other cars, and it's incredibly dangerous when you're trying to change lanes during the night.

I haven't noticed a problem yet on my new C300. I went the opposite way on the mirrors of my previous 2007 C2804matic. I used anti-fog products. My problem was mirrors that were fogged up in the morning. Even if the temperature was low enough to activate the mirror heating feature, they would take a while to clear. Anti-fog products make the water sheet and either drain off or evaporate. In the meantime, the glass or mirror is clear. The drainage (or simply rain) does carry away the anti-fog product fairly quickly. So a product that is convenient to apply and always available is necessary. I used the same wipes I use to prevent fogging on the inside of my windshield.
