Little But Important Updates In The Interior
I have just seen this new interior for the W205 C Klasse. I must say it looks more refined thanks to built-in display as opposed to present versions. There is also digital gauge cluster than having analog one.
Well,it seems with these updates W205 will have become one step closer to the W222

Horrible!
EDIT: BTW this picture is from the self driving prototype, note the really bad fitment of the screens toward the upper dash part, it is not at all certain that the facelift will look like this

Definitely horrible.. something isn't right about that... as said before, looks more like a prototype interior being tested in a C, looks more like something they would do in the E...
Looks very out of proportion, makes the dash line way too high.
Will be interesting to see if anything comes of it in the next 2-3 years when we see a W205 LCI

There will always be something new, this new dash is far from ugly. I'm sure once this concept dash goes into final production there will be some minor tweaks to make it more pleasing to the eye.

Do you mean that you have seen an image in a unofficial magazine?
That does not mean that you have seen the new interior.
If those large screens will indeed appear in the facelift, which i still very much doubt, then i'm guessing it will be a highly expensive option.
And after that, what can the new E have more than the C?

Split screen?

(To those who minimized the importance of ending the duct taped-on appearance of the C-Class screen: objection to this feature is the biggest single complaint about the C-Class interior, maybe the biggest single complaint about the C-Class as a whole!)

I feel the refreshed C-class will have a very modified (not completely new) dash to accommodate a new screen set up. The single biggest criticism of the C-class of potential buyers has been the screen.

I dont think that is from the prototype we saw a few months ago. This seems like a rendering as they just took the S class gauge cluster and nav screen and photoshopped it into the C class

I bet they're testing different systems on a W205 mule. Looks weak here, but will wait to form my opinion until I'd see the car if it's actually for real. I didn't initially like the screen in W205 from photos, but "got it" and loved it once sat in the the actual car.
The full dash screen is fine in the S class, albeit conservative looking to my eyes. I'm excited for screen-less projection one day (i.e. Minority Report or Hunger Games)

i dont think the digital gauge clusters are as "substantial" as the analog ones. something about the lack of depth/dimension make it seem too "fake" if you guys know what i mean. i wanna see those physical needles move!
