Am I getting the run around?

Spoke to the SA guy today. Still shows red on the computer which he says means it's still fine. However the last note was something about accessories confirmed or something. But supposedly the car went red on or about March 25. Then he says it's still on track for delivery the 24th and that he'd let me know when it was on the boat. I didn't think about it until I hung up but I'm in Florida and I thought all the w205 were being built in Alabama. No boat needed. Now I'm wondering if he's jerking me around!!

I don't know man...that sounds a bit sketchy to me. A boat? From Alabama to FL? Ridiculous. Maybe he's confused as to where their different classes of cars are made for the US market.

Sounds like another clueless sales rep. Every time I hear about these kind of experiences--or when I encounter them myself--I think "Man, I could make a KILLING as a car salesman"

Heading to the dealer shortly to pick up the beast. Photos to come soon. Side note: I curbed my flawless wheels last night while parallel parking for the first time. WOOPS

I really love the red leather, but my wife wouldn't hear of it. That may be because almost every car I've ever owned was grey/silver with a red leather interior, and she just couldn't stand it any more.

Excited for you, Stan! You can't go wrong with Palladium and black leather. You'll be very happy with the 18s as well. These 19s are going to be a pain to keep clean 😄 And the red leather interior can definitely be polarizing...ENJOY TODAY! Hope all goes well given the saga with your old car.

Grant - That is one awesome looking machine. The 19's look great with the Palladium. Of course I'm a little biased on the color for obvious reasons.

I learn little nuances with this car every day.

Agreed. The Palladium Silver really looks good with the 18's or the 19's. The color of the 18's really matches the Palladium well. With the road conditions in the winter up here in the "north", I thought the 18's would hold up much better here.

Funny, between the three of us, we prove that all the interior colors looks great with Palladium. That scientifically proves that Palladium is the best color.
