c350 e (plug-in) with AMG exterior pack?
Hi, I noticed on the "configurator" (I tested Belgian and German) the C350 e plug-in cannot be ordered with an AMG exterior pack.
Does anyone know if there is a reason for this or if the configurator is having an error?

It might be to keep CO2 down to a threshold level. In the UK 50g/km CO2 and under will get you in the lowest band of company car tax. AMG line trim would mean lower profile tyres which means higher CO2. Just a guess.
I noticed it comes with Airmatic included (in the UK at least).

I think you can easily (let them) change the front bumper to an AMG-bumper.
I think i saw it in a accessoiries folder from Mercedes.
Also sideskirts can be replaced.
Rear bumper is not all that different from a avantgarde/exclusive because the 350e has 'real' exhaust pipes.
Wheels are no problem at all to replace...

Plus Steering Wheel, Seats etc. I bet you would be looking at £5-6,000 by the time you have finished.

Yes that's the issue. I saw a pack online for €6000 for a full AMG transformation. But by then the cost saving on the BIK is completely negated. It's a real shame.

It's possible, talk to your dealer and they'll sort you out.
This is actually done as you're supposed to gain a certain tax advantage, not to spend it on unnecessary trim options.

I talked with mercedes and it's not posible to order the car with amg exterior. Only interior. So I ordered mine with avantgarde exterior and amg interior. I bought the bumpers separate and everything is going to work except the rear bumper. We have to work something out with the plug

The options are even more limited in the USA dealer order page. No black out, no cool wheels, definitely nothing amg. I think they think anyone who buys a plug-in looses any right to customize or style the car beyond stock. The new BMW plug seems to have way more options for this for instance.
