i picked up my 2015 C300 with Sport pkg yesterday, the passenger side head restraint switch on the door panel is not moving at all, is passenger side head restraint supposed to go up/down electronically or do you need "interior pkg"?

I'd have thought if the button is there, it should move. I'm in the UK and have Premium Plus pkg, both seats/headrests/the works are fully electric. Only thing that isn't electric is the forward backward motion of the headrest which uses a button on the side of the headrest itself and you push or pull it to increase or decrease the gap between it and the back of your head.

The passenger side head restraint does not operate electronically. That button there is a dummy, at least on the US version. My car also has the Premium Package.

Yes. But the price for the W205 has gone up compared to the previous model, though there are other things in the car to be happy about.

If you have the interior package with leather, the passenger's headrest is electrically adjustable with the button on the door. If you don't have the interior upgrade package, the button is not functional and the headrest adjusts manually. The package also includes memory settings for the passenger's seat, but these extra features are not included with the premium package. (US spec.)

I have my C300 for six months now, so I'm familiar with all its many quirks.

When I first got my car, I almost tore that button off trying to get the headrest to move.

Well that explains it then... I have the grey leather. I just went outside to double check and everything is electric on both sides (UK). I'd have been really annoyed if it was a fake button.

Correct, but the choice was based more on my newly acquired MB-Tex phobia rather than on faux button frenzy.

Mine has the cranberry leather package and the headrest move electronically up and down.
