Question for those who share a car with their spouse...

Both me and my spouse's iPhone has been paired and hooked up to the system.

The manual says the car will search for the last connected phone and if that connection can't be made, it searches for the mobile phone that twas connected before that one. That doesn't seem to be working in our car.

I drive the car with my iPhone hooked up. Spouse gets into car the next day by himself. Why can't the car recognize his iPhone immediately? Seems like if you switch drivers, the system can't pick up a previously authorized iPhone automatically. Does anyone else have this problem?

Strange, must be something wrong with setup, maybe removing and pairing again will help.
Each and every car w/Bluetooth worked perfectly for our phones....

Here's a thought based on my own experiences...

Are you home when he gets in the car and drives off alone? Perhaps your phone is still close enough to where the car is able to establish, or attempt to establish, that initial connection but the car does not look for another phone once your phone is out of range.

Kenya - nope. He's getting in by himself and I'm at home so it's not my phone that's interfering.

We don't seem to have a problem.

Does it work immediately for the Media as well as Telephone? For our iPhones, it finds the phone unsee Telephone immediately but not for Media.
