I've never once had any issue with the Hold function in any MB cars in my life. In fact the feature works so well in my W204 that once or twice I forgot to put my transmission in Park and have opened the door with the brake hold feature on while the car screamed at me to place the car in Park.

That there is a small indentation on the paddle shifters. The left/down has a small indentation on the back and the right/up one has a small protrusion on the back. Found it while stuck in traffic yesterday...
Granted, if you can't tell your left from your right and can't see the "+" or "-," you probably shouldn't be driving. Then again, maybe there is a reason for it.

Not a "did you know" about the car, as much as a tip. I know someone already mentioned using the ashtray as a coin holder...I took it one step further and lined the inside of it with the soft side of Velcro. Much quieter!

Good idea! The coins do make a lot of noises when taking tight turns.

I think that's for sight impaired people so that they can easily know which way to change gears...

If you want to move forward or back in a song you can move your finger along the touch pad and hold it here. Do this to the right and it will fast forward the song, do it to the left and it will move backward in the song. The same can be done with the knob below the touch pad. Move and hold it to the right and it will fast forward in the song, to the left moves it backward in the song.

Hi, on the olden days, MB cars such as the W124, one side mirror is bigger than the other probably due to mechanism for adjusting the angle of the mirror.
So I asked this question to my product trainer (by the way I work for a dealership in Malaysia) and the reason given is to pay homage to the olden cars, to invoke heritage and so on. The actual reason I guess might be to place the GPS receiver, phone antenna etc in the bigger one. Hope this helps!

Also, on cars with EASY-PACK Tailgate (Power-boot), you could close the bootlid from the driver seat by pushing and holding the boot release button. Convenient for you if you accidentally opened your boot so you don't have to come down and close it.
Even without HOLD function, your vehicle will not roll back on incline for approx. 2 seconds. They call this the Hill-Start Assist.

Mirrors have to be part of the noise problem on the driver side
I don't know the answer to your question, but it could explain why wind noise is a big problem on the driver side but not on the passenger side. Maybe all MB has to do to solve the noise problem on the driver side is to install a mirror image of the passenger side on the driver side.

plus I hear more noise on passenger side. IMO it's door seals not mirrors letting in all the noise.

Yours is the first report of passenger side noise I have seen. My passenger side has no noise at all. The existence of passenger side noise does complicate matters a lot. If passenger side noise is prevalent, merely copying the passenger side mirror on the driver side is indeed not an option.

Coin holder
Quarters fit well in this space by the ashtray -- 11, just enough for an impromptu pressure wash with a spare in case one gets away and rolls down the drain. Not that that's happened or anything. I don't notice any rattle, but I suppose smaller coins would.

So I just learned this and don't think it's been posted.
Did you know if you use the key fob to open the windows and sunroof the driver side seat blower turns on automatically too!

I have two more here:
1. If you are trying to install the cargo net in the trunk you will find the two additional eye hooks under the trunk liner by putting down the rear seats and lifting the liner.
2. You can open and close the trunk with a kicking motion. This only works if you didn't double click the lock button on your remote. Similarly, the touch sensor on the door handles will not work if you double clicked the remote.
