USB port question: power and connectivity
Just got my car today. One thing I noticed is that the USB port appears to have power even with the engine off. Is this case?
If so, do I need to worry about leaving a device plugged in and drain the car battery?
Another thing is if I plug a Windows CE device, it should show as connected to a computer. Is there any setting to change?
thanks

I didn't know anyone still used CE cannot confirm whether it would show as a computer; but an important note, the port is powered at up to 1500mA which is a nice boost (charges your batteries faster) compared with previous models at 500mA.

I haven't tested this in my C300, but every other car I've owned has had a battery saver feature that shuts down any accessory after 10 or 20 minutes of use. I would be surprised if the W205 didn't have this type of battery protection.
