Controlling media playback
Hi,
If I plug in a USB drive or SD card with MP3 on them, it automatically scan for music files and start to play them.
I can't seem to find a way to pause the playback. The only way I can find is to switch away from the card or drive in the media menu.
Am I missing something really obvious?

Mute simply pauses media playback. Either press mute on the steering wheel to pause/resume or push the centre console rotary volume knob down briefly which is also mute.
Personally I find this interface quite hard to use on the move. The BMW iDrive I have in the z4, while not as fully featured as its several years old now, is more intuitive to use generally, especially on the move. Perhaps I just need time.
