Old and new
It looks like the Merc's predecessor may be going this weekend as I have a few people coming to see it so I thought a photo of my old car and it's replacement would be in order!
And one on the Reedham ferry on the way home today. Even the ferryman commented on the colour

You'd be surprised, there is still a very strong following for MG / Rovers, from just a short post on the MG ZT forum I've got 3 people that want to come and look at it this weekend.
The C300 is undoubtedly a better car however I drove the MG for the first time in a month yesterday and it's amazing how well the MG compares to the much newer Merc. The one thing that the MG does win on is the engine noise, the mercedes 4 cylinder diesel is no match for the MG's screaming V6 petrol!
